Substance Abuse Treatment

At Grace Abounds Counseling, we understand the importance of a holistic, client-focused program for individuals on the path to healing from a substance use disorder. Our compassionate and knowledgeable therapists understand the impacts of addiction and are passionate about helping clients in their recovery.

What treatment programs are available?

We offer substance abuse treatment programs for both adults and adolescents. Our programs can help with recovery from both alcohol and drug addictions.

Our programs are designed with the client’s healing in mind and are rooted in evidence-based practices, meaning that you will receive treatment proven to make an impact. Since we are licensed to provide addictions treatment, you can rest assured that you are receiving an excellent standard of care in accordance with best practices and regulations.

PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS

  • Partial Care (PC)
Our partial care (PC) program prioritizes client stabilization. Often called a “day program,” PC effectively jumpstarts the recovery process through essential structure, practical applications, and an effective timeline. PC offers some of the benefits of residential or inpatient treatment while allowing clients to return to the comfort of their home environments at the end of the day. Through components of psychoeducation, group therapy, and individual counseling, clients will find that PC is an impactful early step towards healing.
  • Co-occurring (or MICA: Mental Illness and Chemical Abuse) Treatment
Clients participating in this form of treatment will work with therapists to address co-occurring mental health and addictions concerns. Through both individual and group therapy components, clients will learn about the relationship between substance use disorders and mental health diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, bipolar, and PTSD. With the help of trained professionals, clients will then develop the skills needed to manage and reduce the impact of mental illness and addictions symptoms, breaking the cycles created by these disorders.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a “step down” from PHP for clients before they transition to an outpatient group. While in IOP, clients will participate in morning or evening groups and will also work with their therapist in individual sessions to learn about themselves and the science of addiction. Through teamwork and caring support, clients will be provided the tools they need to find success in their recovery.
  • Outpatient Program (OP)
Our outpatient program (OP) for substance abuse treatment helps clients develop the skills needed to address substance use disorders at a lower level of care while also providing clients opportunities to learn relapse prevention techniques. Clients in OP work with their therapist in individual sessions to explore their history of substance use and identify ways to reduce risk for relapse. Clients will also participate in group therapy sessions in the mornings or evenings to ensure that they receive the benefits of group accountability and collaboration in the recovery process.

PROGRAMS FOR ADOLESCENTS

  • Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adolescents is designed with the developing brain in mind. Adolescents struggling with substance abuse will find that our IOP program provides them with the practical tools, timely interventions, and effective strategies for their recovery. Through meaningful group and individual therapy and relevant psychoeducation, adolescents will experience the benefits of accountability, direction, structure, and support.
  • Outpatient Program (OP)
Using individual and group therapies along with psychoeducation, our outpatient program (OP) for adolescents will help youth struggling with substance abuse affirm their recovery and prevent relapse. Our therapists understand the unique peer pressure many adolescents will face as they recover and are passionate about equipping them with tools and insight that will empower them to maintain their recovery.
